Those Carbs Can Hide

When you are starting out on a low carb diet, you may only hear about those carbs that are contained in the main foods such as bread, rice, and pasta. Well, carbs can be hidden in quite a number of foods. You need to look at the label of each and every single food that you plan on buying. Read every ingredients and be sure to familiarize yourself with some of the ingredients that are considered carbs. Remember that carbs can be called “glucose” as well. Corn syrup is also pure carbs as well. Another thing to look for is the sugar alcohol content as well. Not because this is actually something you should stay away from, but it is sometimes the only carbs that are actually contained, even if the product says there are carbs in it.
