The Truth About Net Carbs

I am sure that a lot of people that have started a low carb lifestyle are curious to know the truth behind what net carbs are. Try not to be too fooled by what manufactures put on their products. Net carbs are the carbs that are contained with each of their products, that do not have sugar alcohol. That does not necessarily mean that there are no other ingredients that carry the sugar alcohol within. In fact, most products that contain net carbs have an increased amount of sugar alcohol. Just remember to check each label of each product that has net carbs listed instead of regular carb content listed. Also be sure to read the ingredients that are contained within each. If you see sugar alcohol listed in the ingredients, be aware that this does not mean there is a high percentage, but you just need to recognize that you do not need to consume a large amount of the product in a short period of time.
