Lemonade: A low carb drink to start your day

Diet does not only involve what you eat; it also involves what you drink. Therefore, if you are into a low carb diet, you should also drink only beverages that are also low in carbohydrate content.


One very common mistake of people who want to lose weight is to drink energy drinks. How many people in the gym have you seen carrying an energy drink instead of water? They probably don’t know how much sugar and carbs are found in a single bottle of energy drink. Although it is true that they give you an energy boost, they are in no way helping you to lose weight as well.


If you can’t just settle for water alone, you can dry drinking lemonade first thing in the morning. This is a great alternative to those who drink caffeine. Use hot water in making the lemonade. Aside from the fact that it is low carb, it also helps detoxify your body. Maybe you can even bring lemonade with you to the gym.
