Are you up for a low carb diet?

While you may have heard that low carb diets work for some of your friends, this does not mean that they will also work for you. To find out if this diet is also for you, you need to do a little introspection and look at how you did in your past diet attempts.

You will need to consider a lot of different things, such as your diet history. How did you feel when you tried a high carb diet? If you attempted to have a low carb diet before, how was the experience? If you’re just in the middle, then maybe you should go into a moderate carb diet, such as South Beach and Atkins diet.

You also need to look into your eating behaviors and see if you have carb craving every now and then. Symptoms include having the urge to eat throughout the day, falling fatigued when not having a snack, and feeling sluggish after eating.

The most important thing that you need to ask yourself before venturing into a low carb diet is whether you are ready to make a permanent change in your life or not. Mental readiness is part of going into a low carb diet, so make sure you are really prepared both physically and mentally.
