A 1,600 calorie diet is great for almost all people, and selecting the right carbs will help you feel contented, even though you are eating a lot less than you used to. A 1600 calorie lower carb diet plan would likely include:


For breakfast: eggs, yogurt or whole-grain oatmeal, fruit or fruit juice.


For lunch: lean meat like turkey sandwich on wheat bread, fish or a salad with beans and cheese, together with a good selection of vegetables


For dinner: fish or another lean meat, perhaps a broth-based soup, along salad and vegetables or brown rice


For snacks: cheese, nuts, fruit and peanut butter or a low-carb snack bar


You don’t have to completely get rid, instead choose better carbs. Carbs that are included in your diet plan should be as whole and unrefined as possible. You have to keep watch of your calorie intake even if you are eating food with better carbs.
