Being on a low carb diet does not have to mean eating more expensive foods. Although it does appear to be that way when you are trying the South Beach or Atkins diet, you can still cook low carb foods while staying within your budget.


One example of a low carb recipe is the baked fish. For this recipe, you will only need one pound fillet of fish, a little amount of salt, black pepper, a teaspoon of olive oil, and a tablespoon of lemon juice. Just marinate the fish in your lemon juice and olive oil, add the pepper and salt to taste, and bake the fish for 6 minutes. Another recipe is lemon chicken. For this recipe, you will need to prepare 2 chicken breasts, ginger garlic paste, tomato puree, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix all the ingredients and use the mixture as a marinade for the chicken, then bake it for 10-15 minutes.


Not only do you save money from these dishes; you also save a lot of time and effort.
