One of the reasons why it is very difficult to go into a diet is because you can no longer enjoy the desserts you love so much. If you love cheesecakes as much as I do, then perhaps you understand my sentiments on dieting.
But as I was browsing for delicious low carb recipes that I can make at home, I stumbled upon a low carb cheesecake recipe. Who would have thought that it is possible to have a dessert that matches your diet plan?
The key here is to substitute the high carb ingredients of your cheesecake with low carb ones. Cheese, cream, eggs, and berries are the usual ingredients used in a cheesecake, and fortunately none of them are high in carbs. But the problem lies in the sugar and flour that you use for your dessert. What could be a good substitute for these two? The answer’s actually very simple – splenda and soya flour. This way, you can still enjoy your favorite cheesecake even on a tight low carb diet!
