Types of Carbohydrates You Need To Know

Many people are actually unaware of the fact that there are three types of carbs. I know that some believe that there are only “bad” carbs and others believe there are only “good” carbs since they supply your body with energy, but there are both good and bad and some in between. There are things that are known as simple carbohydrates. While some believe these to be the good kind of carbs, you have to look at these more closely. Certain types of these simple carbs can actually increase your risk of storing fat in your body. Then you have complex carbs. These are things like rice, cereal, pasta, vegetables rich in fiber, and bread. They are good and yet bad for your at the same time. You can consume these complex carbs, but it needs to be in moderation. Lastly are the carbs that known as fiber carbs. These are the carbs that are not broken down in the body and are sent straight from the body because of the carbs containing so much fiber.
