Stay Low Carb While Dining Out

For the low carb dieter, temptation is at its peak whenever he dines out. If it’s hard enough to control yourself at home, can you imagine how much harder it will be when you decide to eat out? But thankfully, there are ways in which you can prepare how you are going to stay on track with your low carb diet.
If you know the restaurant where you are going to eat out, it is advisable to plan what you are going to order ahead of time. Some restaurant menus can even be found online. In general, go for plain meat, and ask for more vegetables and salads instead of fries or potatoes as side dishes. Also, avoid anything fried because they are the low carb dieters’ worst enemies.
However, do not starve yourself too much when it comes to desserts. Maybe you can just ask for a spoonful of ice cream from your friend, just enough to sate your curiosity. Remember, no pain, no gain.
