It may be a bit hard to believe that you can actually get enough fiber while on a low carb diet, but it is possible. Now it may be a while before you notice this, but it will happen. Once you have been on the low carb diet for a while, you will notice that your body can start to handle regular carbs, or things you could not eat before, a lot better. So once you are to this level of the low carb diet you can start to eat whole grain breads and pastas to satisfy the need for fiber while on the low carb diet. If you are not at this level, or no where near this level, you can boost your fiber intake by taking the right amount of vitamins. The vitamins are necessary at the beginning of the diet because your body will be lacking in such nutrients as fiber.
