Low Carbers…Take Those Vitamins

It is very important to take your vitamins as part of your low carb lifestyle. While you are on a low carb diet, your body is not getting sufficient amounts of certain vitamins and minerals, so you will need to help your body out by taking multivitamins. Also, because you cannot drink a lot of orange juice or eat a lot of fruit, you may want to have some extra Vitamin C to add in there. Your body is restricted from a lot of foods that would naturally give you the amounts of vitamins and minerals. You will be getting plenty of protein in your diet, but you will lack in many other areas. This is because even though you can eat certain things in all of the food groups, the things that would give you the most vitamins and minerals and the ones you have to stay away from. You need the multivitamins to help fill in the gaps left behind by your food intake.
