False. There is a common misconception about the type of things that must be in place and “not” in place when you are on a low carb diet. The though that you cannot eat any type of carbs in order for it to be considered low carb is absolutely wrong. Number one, you will have a very hard time finding different kinds of foods that contain no carbs at all. Number two, your body actually needs carbs to build energy and burn fat. Sure there are a number of low carb books out there that will tell you that you need to find foods that are the lowest count of carbs possible, but that simply cannot be done by every single person on planet earth. It is not so much about low carbs as it is about choosing the way eat the carbs. You can still have foods contains high amount of carbs, but you just have to eat them in moderation and you have to make sure you work those carbs off in exercise.
