Link Between Low Carb and Kidney Problems

Ok everyone, it is time to clear up another myth that has been out there recently. There is much talk and numerous debates over whether or not low carb diets actually cause problems with your kidneys or not. Well, were going to go with “false” on this one. Believe it or not, being on a low carb diet actually helps your kidneys out a lot more than you might think. You have to drink a “ton” of water while you are on a low carb diet and all that water does a great thing for your kidneys. The water actually flushes all the toxins out of your kidneys so it will help them to stay healthy. I am sure this is a good thing for all of you to know before you decide to quit the diet or never actually start the diet. Problems with your kidneys is often caused by being “overweight” so being on a low carb diet has nothing to do with hurting your kidneys.
