Is Low Carb Really Bad For Your Kidneys?

Let me just start off by saying that low carb is in no way bad for your kidneys. In fact, being on a low carb diet has been shown to significantly improve your kidney function. Now I know there are some that are still very skeptical of this conclusion to the whole “kidney myth”, but you really have to look at the facts about a low carb diet…mainly the “main” fact. The main fact of a low carb diet is that you have to drink a lot of water. You need all 8 glasses of water every single day, plus more if you are able to get it in. The water alone helps to flush out all the toxins in the body, so you have to wonder why the myth of the kidneys ever came to light. When you are on a low carb diet, you do not need to worry about problems with your kidneys unless you start to drink too many sodas…even the 0g carb sodas.
