How to cut carbs in your diet?

Cutting carbs in your diet is generally easier said than done; however, the following tips will make your task simpler-

  • • Eat lots of non starchy green leafy vegetables. They are rich in minerals, essential nutrients and dietary fiber and low in carbohydrates.
  • • Avoid canned juices and sugary drinks, as they are hardly filling but are filled with calories.
  • • Avoid whites in your meals, such as white flour, white bread, white sugar, white rice, white pasta etc, instead replace them with healthier brown substitutes like brown bread, brown sugar, brown rice, wheat pasta, etc
  • • To satisfy your sweet tooth have fruits instead of sugar laden deserts or cakes and ice creams and incase you really feel like having a desert, make sure you compromise on the quantity. These tips will help you cut carbs in a step-by-step and easy manner.
