Fast Weight Loss, But Remember…

While losing weight fast on a low carb diet is expected, you need to remember that losing weight at an extremely fast rate is not healthy and can result in some serious health problems. Without a low carb diet, the normal (and healthy) amount of weight to lose per week is about one to two pounds. Now take that and compare it to the average amount lost during the first two weeks of a low carb diet. In the first two weeks of a low carb diet a person loses, on average, over ten pounds per week. That is a huge difference and massive amount of weight loss. This massive amount of weight loss, in some, can cause a huge shock to the body. You could actually end up getting extremely sick and possibly even losing your appetite. Sometimes it can get much worse that this. Just be careful and aware of how your body will react.
