All Low Carb and No Potassium?

This is definitely not true. A lot of people assume that if you are on a low carb diet and you do not get to actually eat a lot of bananas, if any at all, that you will most certainly become deficient in potassium. Bananas are not the only thing that can give you potassium. Believe it or not, you actually get a lot of your potassium from the meats that you eat. That’s right, since you get to eat a lot of meat on the low carb diet, you are actually getting a very healthy amount of potassium as part of your low carb menu of foods. Things like fish, lobster, turkey, and ham are the best meats to get your potassium from. They are loaded with it. Aside from getting potassium from your meats, you also get it from the vegetables that you eat as well. Once again, since you are “supposed” to eat a lot of vegetables on a low carb diet, you should have no problem getting your potassium fix.
